The Centre for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology is a new interdisciplinary centre within the University of Sheffield. Established in 2002, it provides a focus for the wealth of high quality research being carried out throughout the University at the interface of the life sciences, mathematics and computer science. The Centre will also play a leading role in fostering new interdisciplinary research within the University.
